I drew little Korra earlier and started sketching out the rest of the Krew as kids and started thinking of them in elementary school.

Bolin would be in Kindergarten and so would Korra because I dunno I think she’d be held back a year even though she excels with bending training, not so much in school. Plus an excuse for cute little Borra kid friendship interactions hehe

Mako and Asami would be in second grade. They meet because Asami accidentally knocked into him on some weird box scooter thing that the school has (haha I really wasn’t sure what to draw her with and I remembered some boxy scooters and just drew that in). Then they spend afternoon snack time together and share a juice box or something pffff

I drew this sketch of how Bolin met Pabu months ago and only now just got around to coloring it. Basically, my headcanon is that Fire Ferrets are actually rare delicacies only served in the five-star restaurants of Republic City. On the first day that Mako ever leaves Bolin by himself, Bo wonders off and finds poor Pabu in cage and about to be prepared for dinner. Cue in Bo sneaking into the restaurant and causing chaos to save Pabu.
